After having gained more than 10 years of experience at various companies, we -Ebrahim and Levente- founded our first company in 2014: Open Web. Full of passion for open source software, we have made a flying start with this company in outsourcing software engineers and in developing various initiatives for product development.
One of those products / solutions was Kevlarr. Kevlarr arose from the need to make Open Web email itself more secure. We noticed that following up / implementing various existing standards was a bit more difficult than it seemed at first glance, we decided to act. And we were not alone: we noticed during our preliminary research that no less than 96% of Dutch organizations have insufficient security for their email systems.
With Kevlarr we want to use our experience and knowledge to make secure communication via internet / email accessible to everyone. And we do this by implementing the various security standards.
I am an experienced software engineer / architect and I am also very eager to learn.
With great interest in the latest technology, I always keep quality and safety in mind.
I strongly believe in open source solutions and provided many contributions to the open source community.
First of all, I am an entrepreneur. But one with a strong technical background when it comes to information technology.
Due to my extensive work and learning experience, which I have gained from 1997 on in a wide variety of complex software development projects, I am able to help organizations with solid advice and support.
I see Kevlarr not only as a new adventure, but also as a great opportunity to make the world a safer and better place with the right technology.
